My Car is Manky - Products for black metalic?

Well, ive only pressure washed the car, no sponge or wash mitt has been near it yet. Its manky to be honest and because i feel the fiesta is left out, ill wash it before i get some pics up.

What is the best sort of cleaning products/waxes for a metalic panther black. I have no idea if i need to change my washing method as its metalic and black, so scratches ahoy i believe.

Anything i should avoid doing to the paint also? I have a microfiber wash mit and no sponges allowed.

Thanks.

Cleaning method never changes. Products don't either. Top coats/ LSP's do, but even then some people use the same products regardless of colour.

dont like MF washmitts or towels tbh, would get a lambswool mitt, plush towel etc.

two bucket method to protect against grit. dont ever "quickly" wash/detail it.

Well i cleaned it.
I also found a handy attachment from karcher for my hose. Had an attachtment which was for its brush, but i thought, hmm that would fit that bottle attachment, so i bought both and wow, i now have a snow lance without a pressure washer. Was good to watch actually.

Now, washed the car with Zymol with my MF mit and its all nice and clean.
Took me fully two hours for it to properly be clean. That was until the bucket of water wasnt dirty anymore.

Russ- Have you not got any better pics of your ST dude? Only ever seem to see that cut off one with the rear missing a centre cap lol!!

Paintwork looks like a mirror though, credit to you:approve:

if you really want to give her a good going over.....

Foam the car (not too much as this can strip the wax protection)
rinse
wash with desired shampoo
Clay
rewash
apply Carlack LSC or Dodo lime prime
AG SRP (or if the swirls arent too bad, Megs #7 glaze)
then two coats of a higher grade wax, Collinite 476's will add superb protection
