My car + lamp post = furious

  S13
Last night, absolutely flooding down with rain, turning into another road, my car skidded across the road presumeably 'cos of the water laying on the road, banged up the curb and into a lamp post. Couldn't get it started which I later found out was the fuel cut off switch, came back to it this morning got it started, as I went to drive off I had minimal steering control and the wheel that hit the curb is bent forwards and rubbing on the lining. I had a quick butchers under the car and it doesn't seem that anything is broken, I managed to limp it in to the nearest garage which luckily enough is only just down the road from where it happened.

With that breif description of the symptoms, anyone got any ideas what might of happened and how much cash I'm going to get robbed for to fix it?

Nah just down the road from my house in Chingford NE London. I had various groups of lads drive past me laughing lol, I thought to myself thanks, I'll be laughing if it ever happens to you as well! Just gotta hope the chassis aint bent I suppose, no doubt that'll push the price and inconvinience up.
