Hello,
I am trying to get myself together to sell my RS 200 Clio which i absolutely love to bits but i need to free up space and funds for another car that is arriving over the next few months.
I know i am a severe petrol head with a performance car/bike anything addiction and i rank the Clio for all out fun at number 3 on my list.
So,i am not a serial car changer and generally keep my favourites for two or three years but thought i would show off what i have owned since 2013.
The addiction is getting worse and i have quite often owned 2 or 3 at the same time ,my wife does question why we need 5 cars for the two of us…………my answer is……….we just do!!!!
Blue Impreza Wagon was a 2 litre 282 brake horse power, flat out it did 150 mph,i loved it for over 2 years and did 25,000 miles in 2 1/2 years.
Yellow one was called an MK Midi, with a yamaha R1 engine and weighed under 500 kgs…….It did zero to 60 mph in around 4:5 seconds in first gear! I loved it and did 8,000 miles over 2 summers,it was absolutely unstoppable on b roads and sounded off the charts with the engine behind your head and a red line of 13,750!!!!
The red one with black roll cage is an MNR Vortx,R1 engine again. I did like it but i blew up the gearbox and it cost me alot of money to repair,twice……..😡😡
The blue Alfa was a 2 litre,it was my car to go to work in and wasn’t that fast,it just looked good.
The red Subaru is a very special car, it is an Impreza WRX,STI,Spec C,Limited. That model was never available in Britain, seemingly there were around 96 red ones made for the Japanese market. When i bought it in 2019,only around 7 were in the Uk. It is the fastest of all and will do zero to 60 mph in 4 seconds and will not be stopped until 170 mph ! It is a 2 litre twin scroll turbo and had thousands of pounds spent on it ,coilovers, semi slicks. It really can spook the bikers over the mountain section on Isle of Man at 6:30 am. I love it to bits and won’t sell it,even though it does ten miles per gallon with the foot down! That picture is with Jimmy Mcrae,Colins dad. He bought a motorhome from my work a few years ago and we had a great chat about cars of course.
The classic scooby is 29 years old and has a 2:5 built forged engine running switchable maps between 280bhp to 320 upwards. It is loud, fast but comfortable on standard suspension. It is also for sale just now on several sites and i just advertised it on here a few hours ago.
My white Clio RS 200 has severely got under my skin over the last 2 1/2 years to the point where i have become very attached to it but i will try to advertise it tomorrow.
As you can see,for me to rank it third out of this bunch,i have so much respect for it and it is the right power for the road.
Red Scoob STI is first,2nd is yellow MK Midi,3rd is Clio and i would never have believed that a few years ago.
Enjoy reading and looking at my car p**n.
Ps,forgot about my favourite bike,GSXR750 with a superchip fitted,145 in fourth……….had it at 170 a few times and it had 10 mph left.😀👍
