My car still leeking, RadWeld?

Right after a great expense and lots of saw hands i replaced the lower radiator hose on my clio, and it sill appears to be leeking coolant!!!!!! Steam is coming from lower passenger side of the radiator, has anyone tried RadWeld it any good?

If it comes to it, how much is a new radiator roughly?

I tried Radweld when my old 1.2 hoses were leaking, worked a treat. Id wait for some more opinions off other people before using it on your car though.

I had rad weld in my old rad when it decided to blow a hole in it, good stuff.

Isn't radweld supposed to be a temporary measure though ?

Blocked my therostat and damaged my head gasket in the process.

Well i've put it in and can't see steam anymore so it's done something.

It is temporary, its bodging to be fair!!! i wouldnt use it in my car, has been known to block waterways up!

very good as temp repair , work as rac patrol used it few times . wouldn t use it on such a new car , ok for older cars with simple cooling systems . lots of companies doing non genuine rads . get cooling system pressure tested , if rad is leaking bite bullet and replace it .

I would never touch the stuff!
As has been mentioned, it can block up holes that are not meant to be blocked!
