My car's got a mind of it's own!

I was driving home from work today and i always lock my car with the button on the inside, bt as i was driving along it just unlocked the doors all by itself?

Anyone heard of this happening before??

yeh, its the auto lock/unlock mine is set to lock wen the car starts moving. that or uve got KITT

How do u set it to lock. i have an older clio than you 1994.

KITT is the car from knight rider lol.
hmm not sure if its the same on older model then,but if u press lock and then hold it for 5-10 seconds

mk1's dont have autolock... prob an electrical fault somewhere, that or your caught the remote central locking button lol

sorry for hijacking the thread, but do 1.2 ph2 mk2 authentiques come with the autolock feature? mine doesn't seem to have it

when ignition is on, press the lock button, then press and hold it for 5-10 seconds, you should hear a clicking sound to show it has set, if not then it doesn't have the auto lock feature.

Actually, you press and hold the button for 6 seconds, no need to press it first. A beep should alert you of its activation/deactivation.
