My thoughts, but only as you asked.
Get rid of the stickers
Ask longlife to make the exhaust a stealth hidden system.
Standard rear lights back on instead of the tinted ones.
New number plates - No decals or graphics.
Some ph 2 172 wheels.
Loose the sunstrip.
Standard wing mirrors back on.
Lower it maybe ?
Job done, but all imo of course.

well i got a sagum ecu which makes it harder
usually cost £800 cus it has to be stripped then mapped
gettin it done for £450 and a free cda cold aire feed filter.
angel tunning, will keep u informed m8
hoping will reduce 0-60 by a second atleast.
it runs 8.2 at the mo, got 133 on speedo
as for racing bmw ahaha they would be stunned!!!

8.2 seconds 0-60 out of a 1.6 clio? Your havin a laugh arnt you. theyre specced up at 10 so hows yours 2 seconds faster?. a 2.0 is 7 seconds so i doubt its gunna knock a second off!

You shouldnt be driving at 40 in second gear in a built up area anyway regardless of kids. I hope you get pulled sometime soon. And as for 7 seconds 0-60 in a 1.6 clio with a remapped ECU. Keep dreamin lad! I asked about chips and remaps on here a while ago i even coupled the idea with a stainless system,big airfilter and a 4 to 1 sport manifold and i was told i'd achieve about 3-5 extra horses. to get your 0-60 time down you need to spend thousands and thousands, see the GDI tuned cars, fair few been done recently. Your talkin 4grand for 30 horses.

o and as for built up areas i wouldnt be goin 40 in 2nd, i can admit i have done a couple of times but not skinny little double parked roads. i bet u have had your moment when speed has got the better of you, everyone does

take the pi55, went to get my remap today got there he went to do it, when as he initially said it was a sagum ecu (which it should of been) he took the cover off and found a seimens ecu out of a 1*2 . didnt have the stuff on him to do it, so he's comin to my work tomorro to do it. pain in the a55 but hey i got part of a 1*2 in my car how cool

I find this as hard to beleive as the chavs who think an air filter alone gives them 10 extra brake. Safe blad!
My 1.6 16valver struggled to do a sub 10sec 0-60. These times are optimisitc, your probably looking for a 0-60 of nearer ten seconds for a 1.6.
Your ECU remap will help if it requires it, but to suggest your going to achieve a 7. something 0-60 just from that, I somewhat doubt.
If however you do, can you let me know the guys name and number who is doing the work, and he can have a little tweak with mine. :rasp:

4 bolts, drill the holes smaller than the screws and screw it on. Did make a difference but i find in the dry its really grippy literally throw it into round abouts, in the wet it almost seems to slide more but easyer to straighten up and its a controlleable slide to.
