Hi All

Greg here, I am a new member and so attached some pics of my Clio 172 Track Car

Over £5000 spent on engine, Brakes and Suspension

Incuding a further £2000 on the Interior and Exterior mods

Let me know what you think,

There so much more that i want to do.??

nice effort. but would it have not been a better idea to buy a cup which is lighter to start with then mod the lump etc ?

Welcome Greg. Looks wicked. What suspension you fitted. Can you get the rear any lower?

Yea Brought it off him back in Feb

Already bought new rear brake discs calippers and Pads

Front and Rear Strut Braces

and designed and applyed the graphics myself

I have had the rear raised slightly at the min the speed bumps round here are s**t

Will lower it again for the French Car Show in July

This will leave you for dead Justin give us a call when your big enough.....BOB STANDARD

Might Struggle to get down to Brands for then mate bit of a treck for me

sorry Greg did not mean to offend, that was certainly not my intention, I was just thinking if you had started with a cup instead of a ff 172 would it have been any quicker than using the ff as a track wepon ?

Not a snide comment in anyway just a genuine question ?

As i said i think the car is very nice, and i cant wait to see it on track.

The Clio had extensive work on it and stripped down

Its good to be different

I don't like the rest of the stickers but the chequers over the bonnet and down the sides look brilliant! Did you say you designed those ones yourself??

Yea It is mate

They did the majority of all the major fabrication and engine work

Chris definatly went to the right people who know what they are doin

As i said theres still more that can be done but as always it costs money and id only go to Yozza

The following was done a Yozza

Brake pads and disks changed.
Goodridge braided brake hoses fitted
Copper brake lines installed
New brake fluid
Air Conditioning removed from car
Clio Cup Alternator Installed with belts and brackets
Power steering remodified and machined
Clio Cup radiator installed with new mounts
Coolant replaced
Cambelt and pretensioners changed
New subframe bracket installed
CV joint repaired with Renault kit
Battery tray/Gearbox mount replaced
Engine flush
Oil and filter change
NGK Spark plugs installed
Any unneeded engine/bay components removed
Large cold air pipe installed replacing the fuel rail guard
Engine bay cleaned professionally
Rear Axle stripped down,
New wheel bearings fitted
New Rear brake diska fitted
New Rear Stub Axle fitted
Tyre Fitting + balancing
Exhaust + Decat Fitting

i think this car with the right driver will show up a lot of these "alleged 200bhp" cars

its one of the quickest non cammed cars we've driven

Im planning on going to the French Car Show in July

Obviously with you doing the work to the car i dont mind parking next to the Yozza Sport stand to show them what you can do........................

Maybe you could sort me out a bit of discount in the future in return

Yea the back is stripped our completly and then i added a rear strut brace and boarded and carpeted the base i will set up antoher thred if you wish to see a pic of it

I can sort out the graphics and send them to you in the post if you wish

How was after the aircon was removed and cup accessories fitted?
