Finally got around to washing, polishing and supagarding my new 172 yesterday. Here are three of the pics I shot.

Thanks all :) I'm definately buying the clear side repeaters, it was the one thing I decided on yesterday after getting the car polished.

Where am I best to buy them from?
 
Nice car mate and you'll pick up a set of clear side repeaters from Halfrauds for a tenner if you don't want the official clear Renault ones which are £20+ iirc.

try and get them off eBay, dealers want around £22 for a set, I got a set (genuine renault ones) for £5.79 delivered, I think I was very lucky though as they tend to go for more.
 
The numberplate is 100% Photoshop edited.

I'm loving the colour more and more. First blue car I've owned.
 
Those must be the cheapest tyres available at that size which will be why the dealer fitted them.
 
I went into Halfords and asked about ordering clear side repeaters. They quoted me £20 so I'm probably better buying them directly from Renault.
 
Hi Annie :) I used Zymol cleaner wax on the car and followed it up with a coating of Supagard.
 
Justin, I paid £6300 for the car from a main dealer. It's an 02 plate and has done 33,000 miles with fsh. Renault have told me the car is an import but the DVLA disagree. I'm delighted with the car and think I got a great deal.
 
Monaco blue pretty rare as well - nice.

You out condorrat way or closer to the toon centre? Im out that neck of the woods as have a few sites out that way
 
The car is at standard height, for some reason the pics seem to make it look higher than it actually is :D
 
Fletch a couple of them have slight curb marks but nothing major. I may get them fixed up at some point if I don't replace them. Why do you ask?

I ask because they are so bloody easy to curb and yours look very tidy.

It's nice to see a monaco blue one mate, all i ever see are iceburg silver ones and red ones.

:D the previous owner proved how easy they are to curb. The blue really has grown on me over the past 3 weeks and when I looked at it all shined up yesterday I loved it. It looked wonderful tonight parked up in the sunset, the reflections from it were excellent, shame I couldn't capture the moment in a photo :D

Looks a lovely example, great colour. They should have carried that and flame red through to the 182's.
