My Clio dCi 80 from France, RS Spirit :)

Hi guys !!

First i'm a real frech from France, so my language could be "strange" or bad, please apologize if you don't understand

So, I'm Emanuel i've got 20 and i'm in love with my clio.
I'm studying automotive at school

This my second clio, cause i've crashed the first, but i bought exactelly the same, i'm crazy says my friends

I'm gonna present the "second".
Clio dCi 80 09/2004 Sport Dynamique with Automatic AC and that's all.

In the few day's i'm gonna mount a Rear wheel axle unit with brack disk from a Clio RS1

A picture taken this day, after 7 months everything is like new.

Yesterday i posted in "clio discussion" i think my post is made to be here, cause i'm gonna post some pictures during the evolution.

Hi guys,

That good's i mounted the rear axle wheel with, brake disks

For the ABS i used dCi's 100 Abs Sensor and a 44 notch ABS sensor ring

I changed the master cylinder, by a RS one in 22mm (only 20mm for dCi)

looking lovely,
you will need subframe, hubs, strut's, wishbones, antiroll bar and driveshafts,
i used the driveshafts out of a ph1 rs172 as the driverside doesnt fasten to the back of the block, good luck.

In due course i hope get a full RS2 front wheel drive with powerflex bushes fonr the anti-roll bar

So, some news, the car had now 150 000kms and the clutch was changed 2 weeks ago cause he was really broken

I received a lot of new parts to mount, and some part for the Front wheel axle Clio RS2 !!!

Hi,

The new shift knob is on the Clio.

A Zamac ball like Spyder and RS1, it's cold in Winter and Hot on Summer.

I think it look reaaly nice on the Sport Dynamique harmony.

Some news, the front RS drive will monted for christmas, i received the new dampers and it start to look something.
The driveshaft should arrive at home in few day and tomorrow i will received the kneecap, the 6 one, suspension and direction.

Hello everybody !

Fisrt i hope you passed a merrychristmas and a happy new year day

So, on the 25 December i mount all the front wheel drive from a RS2 with the Viarouge Sport absorbers and Eibach -20 springs.

For the Front and rear bumpers, wings and sideskirts i hesitate ... the RS2 look is incredible, i like it a lot, but in france people are not "fun" like english people :lol:
I start to ask around if it will looking nice, a majority are against just cause the engine is ... not powerful.

And an another majority reason, the money, it's quite expensive, so i hesitate a lot.

but i must (for the moment) keep my dCi, i use my car a lot and a RS engine is not as economic as dCi engine.

Yea, that's true .. but when "we" have to tune it, french always want to keep it "full stock", that's not funny lol

The hubcaps are back, sometimes i like with no hubcaps and sometimes with, for the moment the car is in the street so the hubcaps are gone

Yes, a bit of work, but know it's mine

Today, i take some brakes and suspension measurements (hope you understand, cause i know that's not good).
Here are the results, hope you'll understand cause we don't have the same metric system.

Suspension:

FL : 87%
FF : 88%

RL : 61%
RR : 53%

Brakes:

FL : 250 daN
FR : 260 daN

RL : 153 daN
RR : 155 daN

The front is not perfect, but the brakes pads and disks have to run in.
After 20 000km, the Rear axle wheel is ok, brakes are perfects.
