So far its got: Sport suspension apparently and the spoiler. (Already on from the bloke i brought we brought it from)
Blue interior, Pioneer deh-65bt head unit, Fusion front speakers and Vibe SE-k 69 6x9s speakers.

I'd like to go all out, get alloys, induction kit, sports grill etc. But being 17 my insurance company probably wont let me. So until i switch to Quinns Direct which alloys alloys and tints etc im stuffed :(.

EDIT: And its a 1.2

  GT, Valver, BMW
looking good mate just like mine, a 1*2 grille on that would make a real difference, i know because ive got one on mine.

  M135i
i dont think most people do declare there grille, i havent. Up to you i supose. im waitin 4 my insurance to run out to get a new 1 so i can put alloys on. Who you with atm ?

  GT, Valver, BMW
yes mate the RS one, takes about 10- 15 mins to fit and only costs about £40 from renault,no its not worth telling them about the grille they wouldnt know the difference anyway.

I Think so too! Im with Direct Line. Good, But in my opion they need to get with the times, i only want alloys etc. I will get a grill when one pops up and put it on.

Would like tints, but im gonna leave it for abit.

  M135i
yeh direct line  was lookin at tints aswell, but i heard that because clios are already tinted a tiny bit if u add anythin to the front then even the lightest will make them illegal and i didnt want just back tints as they look like they just suddenly stop which looks sh*te. any 1 know anythin about tints on the front of clios n makin them darker in the front ?

Most fronts are illegal anyway, Im not going to say just do it. But i think most people take the chance.. If i was going too, id just get dark rears and a smoke on the front.

  M135i
do u know much bout prices n how much front cost n how much front n back cost, just want a guide to c if im getting ripped off

Thanks, And im not sure what make the spoiler is. The bloke said it was a billabong special edition spoiler. but im not sure i believe that. there is writing underneath the spoiler, but its painted over and hard to make out.

Ive just put some new tailored mats in that make the car feel a lot nicer, All i need now is a bee sting aerial i think, going to get the sports grill and going to paint the calipers black.

Looks like the Renault 'Double spoiler' part of the Renault body kit...

Not many around...

Sweet, I had a quick look under the spoiler and it does look like the renault diamond and text, but i cant be sure. I like it anyway, gives it a nice look etc.

be carefull with quinns mate, if u have to cancel your insurance halfway through or even just have to make a claim they very hard to get money out of, have a look on this website:

http://www.insurance-connections.co.uk/

u can take the test, then ring up, they give you a 6 month policy then after the 6 months you can renew it for a year but they give you a full years no claims for just 6 months like. then after that 18 months if you renew with them again you get 3 years no claims. working out cheaper for me.:D

Ive got two mates with them and they seem ok, one had a crash and they paid out. I will probably be with my current insurer for a year anyway, as im not really that desperate to change :)

think the spoiler is this one,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-CLIO-...photoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

it just an after market part not a renault special edition.

car is looking tidy mate, lower it and get a sports grill on it :)

I saw that one, thought it was mine, but its not. That one seems to rest on the origional spoiler. Myne is one solid piece, and the light is on the top part of the spoiler, not the origional bit.

Yeah would like to lower it but probably wont be able to get insured. And hopefully should be getting the grill soon.

Going to do some experimenting with front door speaker pods, see how they come out :)

What do you mean by black backed?

rite well you know the headlight, certain models of clio have either black outer edges or grey its hard to explaine, but also if i changed my headlights would it not effect the auto headlights?

Quinn Direct are brilliant for mods
I had everything delclared on my dci for no extra cost, and when I went to cancel (they don't cover the 172) it was a breeze. They refunded what they owed within a fortnight.

The car looks tidy too :)
