My Clio, from start to now...

Thought I'd track the changes my car has taken over the last 8 or so months since I bought it, and the changes I have had with it!

Started off 99% bog standard inAug 08, with just a 307 splitter fitted:

Had done 35070 miles when I collected it :)

Next change were some Eiback sportlines, made a nice difference:

Then my plate :)

Then the Eibachs went and some H&R's went on, with some mad front camber ;)

Then came some lightweight 15" wheels and yoko paradas which I planned for track. Sprayed roughly matt black.

Next up came a set of Turinis, originally gold but I sprayed them anthracite, and a new set of T1R's

Then a nice Yozza exhaust came, first with a decat and then later refitted the cat due to it being too loud for me!

I then decided an upgrade to AST's and solid top mounts was needed:

A quick spruce

I then decided that I need a bike, so sold the AST's and 15" Enkeis to help fund it. Turinis were powder coated (but done wrong twice, so had to settle with this colour for now :( ).
After trying to get used to standard ride and height I caved in and bought some more Sportlines, which were delivered and fitted this morning.

How it sits now on 42800 miles:

Future plans are to keep it mint really. New rear discs needed soon, wheels redone, a big clean and a bit of paint here and there. Other than that near-standard cars are the way forward for me, and a bike as a weekend toy, so nothing mad anymore!

Enjoy :)

Looks good. Shame about suspension, sat so much better before :(

I think its spot on as it is!

I'd deffo get the wheels redone silver - or be a daredevil and fit some 172 ph2 alloys to cause a stir ;)

^ I'm torn on Anthracite as before or Silver for them to be honest, I'm thinking a nice bright high power silver, but Anthracite does look so good.....

It did sit better on the AST's, but in a way I prefer it now, feel like I'm growing up a bit (20 haha) and after a more standard kind of car!

nice job

for me it sits better now as the AST would be too low for my liking but looks nice now.

any further plans? would have liked to see the 15s in anthracite or silver on the car to see how they would have looked

I know what you mean, I've saved that many iceberg turini pictures I need a new hard drive!

I think after the williams the 172 will never look as good as the 172, wierdly the more I look at the 172 wheels the more I love them, they work really well on the silver, the car looks so fresh to me - its the same with the silver cups and obviously the 172/182's on turnis.

^ The inferno does look mint I guess......god dammit :(

Thanks for the nice comments, new wheels may be on the way...;)

182 cup wheels are what you need, look how good it looked. In fact id probably swap if you asked nicely?

I'd go for the bright silver over anthracite on your car :)

lol if I asked nicely!!

Turinis will be staying, other wheels will probably be for when I get bored of them! 1 set in bright silver, the other in anthracite!

the enkeis looked awesome in anthracite! they used to be mine, but wouldn't fit over my four pots, i was gutted, as i had to have the centres machined to fit!

Cheers Doug, they were awesome but no need for them now so I thought I may as well get rid.
Super light too!

I ruined them a bit doing them matt black looking at it, should have left them how they were but you live and learn I guess, the new owner has interesting plans with them!

matt black was proper slaggy though:approve:
