just wondering if anybody knows any places to get a k4m engine. as my timing belt slipped and has toatally done my engine. compression and valves are foooked. only had the car for 3 months.

Can you not just re-build the head or has a valve snapped off and embedded itself into the head or piston?

not to sure yet mate but garage are double seeing if it is fixable this week but they said it would probably end up cheaper getting a new engine.

i had a scenic with a k4m belt snapped few months ago, bent 16valves, ran a treat once i put new ones in.

btw why didt u get the cambelt done when u bought it?

they guy i got it from said it had been done at evans halshaw in september must have been telling porkys.well gutted as i already ow 3 grand out
