My clio is poorly :(

Hi. I have had this problem for a few days and I don't know what to do
Had the AA out yesterday and even he didn't have a clue, plugged it into his laptop though and it said throttle body open curcuit ect.
would changing the throttle body fix this?

Hi, check the wiring at the back of the engine which runs to the engines ECU. There is a common fault where the main engine loome rubs through on a ECU security bracket and shorts out. This may be your problem

my ecu is next to my battery not behind the engine though

Have you recently driven the car in a lot of rain or have you been in some wet weather very recently or when it started?

I only ask because I had a similar issue. I was told to open the fuse box and check the big white connector (you can't miss it) I think it's to the ECU. Just unplug it and look for corrosion etc, and just wd40 it and replace. Worked for me 100%.
