My Clio ownership so far...!

hi all, 'newbie' here been lurking and reading the forums for a couple of years, though i'd stick some photos of what i drive and have been driving up at long last! bear with me if it doesn't go smoothly...:rasp:

car i learnt in and passed my test in, which i still miss like crazy - was the dynamique+ model with aircon, only 9,000 miles when i got it. only managed to add silvervisions, induction kit and clear indicator covers

latest one seems good so far, not a colour i would have gone for straight away, but was off a family friend and waay too good an offer to turn down.
in the future may well lower it on perhaps some anthracite turinis or 182 wheels. all have been 1.2's for insurance reasons etc, would love a 172/182/197 in the future though ;)

i was coming down a little country road i hadn't been down before at 11.15pm, was trying to do a million things at once (adjust radio, wind window down, close glovebox etc) when the corner i was going round just kept getting sharper and sharper without warning, back left wheel slipped into the gully created by the road being recently resurfaced then the back end slid out to the right when i tried to correct it and the car jumped up the bank on the left missing a massive tree by inches then the drivers side plonked into a nice solid telegraph pole. side airbag probably saved me serious head injury, only cuts i had were from the drivers side wing mirror hitting me in the face before going into the back seats.

i was very very lucky. i have learnt a lot from it as well, more cautious and concentrate harder on unfamiliar roads now! ended up on a golf course, got some strange looks the next morning! at least she died clean and shiny :(

Hi mate, I ahd the same kind of accident but involving an icey rode and a post holding a baby tree up :( definatly learned my lesson there... lol Good to see you didn't get hurt, the drivers chair airbag saved my head from hitting the window when I crashed mine to, quite glad it was their now.
