Nice car mate! (I've had 3 identical!)

I've wasted literally thousands of pounds on modifying them.... Lowering springs, induction kits, de-cats, exhausts, wheels etc etc.

If I had my time again, all I needed was some decent coilovers and some good brakes and brake fluid. Its all you need to get the most out of them cars.

Very nice mate.I'm still tempted sometimes to get another one.As for the mods same as what Daniel said. Please dont change the wheels not unless you can get a set of the 16's

mine was the same as yours a few months ago.

How it stands now, few lil subtle mods yet to come to finish it off

leave alloys silver imo

loads of people have anthracite wheels. ph2 rear lights, silvervisions, clear side repeaters, lower on coilovers or eibach sportlines. maybe ITG panel filter and k-tec stealth/yozza exhaust system.

job done

oh and change number plate to a standard one

Mine has the following and feels spot on!

Hayward & Scott stealth exhaust system
Inlet manifold matched at Angelworks
RSTuning remap
ITG filter
Eibach sportlines
Compbrake solid top-mounts
Greenstuff brake pads
Brembo HC brake discs
Stainless steel brake lines

I recomend the remap, inlets and SS exhaust first though!

Looks great enjoy it! Is it Iceburg or Titanium?

You dont need coilovers for everyday normal road use. Complete overkill - track yes, road no. (IMO)

Brake upgrades too. Decent set of front pads and disks is all you need. Brakes on these are pretty good out the factory.

id deffo get the silvervisions, clear indicators and rear lights ftw looks wise.if you can stretch it a trophy spoiler looks smart, i have one on mine.

Wonder how many ph1 172's are left given that Renault only officially imported 1200ish? So many trackers and fallen stock. Must be getting quite rare now
