My Clio :<

Been in garage now for just over a week,

Was just sent to auto electrician to see if there were any electrical faults,

Nothin found by them so the mechanic is now checking the head gasget!

Anyone know how much this is gunna b costing on my 1.5dci (53plate)?

Well its bn having loadsa problems starting,

So i got the glow plugs replaced,

Then it was fine for about a week,

went over my mates house, came out and it wouldnt start,

Tried to bump/jump start and nuttin,

Ended up towin it home n then the garage took it away!

I used a fuel can to put diesel in bt id used that can b4 to put petrol in,

that b the problem?

i wouldnt of thought so,

its bn having starting problems for a long time now,

only used the can the other day and then it properly broke down,

Il inform that to my mechanic tomo coz i want my baby back lol!!

every mk2 will encounter starting probs and engine cutting out randomly etc at some point, it's in the Renault law book...

im considering one of those things that u push around and they hook onto the wheel!!

If its under warrenty mate i personally wouldnt mention putting petrol in it!

Try get hold of a mobility scooter for the elderly, it's as easy to drive as a clio, a tad easier even... and just as fast

Injectors in the k9k engines are a bit fragile anyway. How much petrol was in the can?

IIRC headgaskets about 6/7 hours book time - Not real time though, but can charge anything for diagnositics, I'd phone them and make sure they dont start ripping bits off and charging you.

i dont think there was hardly any,

Its just thered been petrol in it about a week before n then i filled it with diesel to go in my car!

Its my uncles rally partner so get most of the labour done 4 v cheap!

How many miles on ur dci n wat is it?

About 71k Now - still aint got the cambelt done yet, keep putting it off the water pumps a bit of a sl*g on them :dapprove:

Pulls like a train they do, I reckon they're bloody quick for what they are

Its the 80Bhp - the fastest one Wanna get it mapped soonish
