These are some pics I took of the last three years of ownership and club meets basically a random collection of my pics.....

During the three years I have owned:

172 FF
172 CUP
182 CUP
172 PH1
Clio 16v Turbo

After owning all these cars I can honestly say they are all epic in their own way. :rasp:

I got to say the 172FF was the nicest car because it was 100% mint. However it was the slowest (if you can say slow) out of the lot. The worse one was the 172 CUP as I didn't like the poverty spec, but each to their own.

No its not mine, although I was following my friend when it happened. Hit a patch of loose gravel and mud.

Yep my Cup went on TV lol, the Used Car Show programme wanted a mint Clio Sport and seen as my Cup only had 8,000 I let them use it.


Look very closely at that '182'.... because its not a 182 its a 172! was an awesome car thou.

I love the stance of your 'wolf in sheeps clothing' 172 FF.......may I ask what its sitting on.......coilies or short springs.......and what was it like to drive with that drop? Is it driveable day to day etc?

I told myself I wouldnt drop the suspension too much on my cup, but the more I see pics of low cars the more I feel I might......and your FF looks spot on and not slammed low!!

I owned the Valver and Ph1 at the same time for about 4 months then sold the 172 because I took delievery of a brand new Toyota Avensis company cruiser.

So I now have an 08 Avensis T4 and Valver Turbo for weekend

Sorry for the confusion, the black 172/182 look a like was not my car, that was a guy called simon on here, however that car is now dead :-( In fact there are about 3-4 cars in these pics that are now dead lol.

FYI the black 172 was on H&R's, carbon bonnet, Recaro seats. Ill post some more pics of it later.

Everyone on here including my self will tell you to go for coil overs and then get them set up properly including - tracking, tow, cast, camber and perhaps corner weighting.

If you have the cash go for H&R or LEDA.

If your not doing track days then think about a set of Koni sport dampers and eibach sportline springs.

I will prob get another Mk2 as a trackday car or something. The valver is fun but very fragile!
