lol at Brisa.

No I have had the problem before and the computer guy sorted it.

He said it was simple but I can't for the life of me think what it was.

Any ideas?

could be something simple like the fan not sitting right. Have you or anyone else moved the base unit?

Try cleaning the fan . There could be a lump of s**t stuck to it causing it to be imbalanced .

So tomorrow morning,

"The fookin fan took the end of my fingers off.. and I spent the night in A&E."

:rasp:

laptop sam? mine sounds like a 747 taking off!!! generates the same heat as well!!!

need to get the dust and s**t sucked out of it!!!

I cba with taking the PC apart tonight.

If the fan is knackered, get one from ebay or an online store.

Do NOT go into any kind of computer shop for one, you'll be charged an arm and a leg.

When I replaced an 80mm fan a few months ago, my local pc shop wanted £8 for one! I got one off ebay for just over £1.
