My cup is starting to look like one again!

I bought it three weeks ago and wasn't to impresed with the half breed look lol. So after a lot of searching around i got my self a set of turinis and had them fitted today with new tyres.

There is a few thing that had to be tidy'd up and a few thing are on order to get it back to std form, like washer blanks, cup spoiler and splitter that are also missing....... Also i'm fitting the 182 exhaust surrounds in the bumper and lifting the back boxes up to fit properly

I got one comment loose the exhaust, but then that would mean getting a new bumper I suppose! Where did you get the turini's as I am in the process of taking mine back to standard, on the outside?

It will look alot better once it has the plastic surrounds in the bumper and the tail pipes are lifted higher like the 182 ones.

I got them from a guy selling them on ebay but bought them private without ebay fees

You could always be the first to fit a rear diffuser to your bumper and tidy the exhausts that way? A leap into the unknown though...

Yes mate car is hpi clear, i know alot of people take the splitter off when selling. The boot has been resprayed before so has proberly had a new boot with the std spoiler fitted.

The person who had it before me tried to get it looking like a 182 for some strange reason, hence the alloys crappy exhaust and half leather seats, it even says ashleys 182 on the front number plate!!!!!

Got to agree with the man, and to remember hpi clear just means it hasn't been written off. Doesn't mean its been in a shunt and repaired on the cheap outside of insurance. Don't want to come across the c**t but it just doesn't smell right to me. The wheels and everything I can see just fine, its the lack of a cup spoiler and the washers that worry me. Someone just wouldn't remove a cup spoiler then bother to get a normal one sprayed up in mondial as there'd be no money in it.

Like said mate it has had a new boot as the colour inside is slightly diffrent, i would say that it has had panel damage because there is a few parts that have been resprayed.....some tw*t must have damaged it, there was small pieces of glass in the boot and foot well when i hoverd it last week.

I got the car for a good price as the guy selling it needed cash for his morgage and was selling this and his 330 bmw, and had a expensive bill with the car two months ago when it wouldn't start.

I'm not to sure how much cups go for but it has, frsh, 44k miles very good condition out side and in, apart from the spoiler and splitter missing, but the guy wanted £3500 for a quick sale i paid £3000 with tax.

I also have receipts worth over £1000 pound for the electrical work carried out when it broke down on him a few months back lol.

I've seen worse to be fair, but I must admit I was thinking more along the lines of putting a lotus elise diffuser into the bumper of similar.

That would look mint without all the holes!!! Love it!!!

Also..... imo that Cup is not on Cup springs..... the rear is too high. What you find with Cups is that after a while, the rear tends to 'settle'
