My Dacia Logan 1.6 16v K4M 105 Hp

This is my 2009 Dacia Logan Prestige. It has the 1600cc 16v K4M 105 Hp engine

Future plans :

- Clio Sport 172 exhaust manifold with no cat at 50mm exhaust pipe
- Laguna 2.0 16v throttle body and intake manifold
- customized ECU software
- sport springs and shock absorbers and Logan Van/pick-up brakes

If you have ideas about K4M tuning and modifing i will be glad to hear them.

please tell me how can i attach pictures ?

the airfilter box is from a Citroen Xantia 2.0 HDI, i also used S-Hose 90 degree reductions , and 70mmx1.5mm stainless steel pipe

i thought about buying a 172 but it is very complicated. the engine and electronics fit bolt on. i will have problems with the police and Romanian Auto Registry.
the angine can' t be approved because the power exceeds 135% of the original power.

some alternatives could be 2.0 16v F4R 140 Hp or 1.6 16v RS 133 Hp.

here is a video of the gearbox modification. i have modified the 5 th gear with a Logan 1.5 dci 5 th gear
the result was a lower rpm at high speeds. the stock rpm was 4000 at 140 kph and now the rpm is 3600 3650 at 140 kmh. ( my gearbox is a mechanical cable clutch JH3 050 )

in our country it is forbidden to run with no catalyst or non R.A.R approved engines.

if the new engine's power exceeds 135 % of it s original engine power you can t not install it.

a colegue of mine fitted the 2.0 16v F4R 140 Hp on the Logan. powerfull engine light chassis the car runs like a dream.

the Logan 1.6 16v 105 Hp runs preety fast to. 0-100 in 10.3 GTECH measured and 17 sec 0- 400m.

The Laguna II F4P/R inlet plenum and TB setup won't fit the K4M as the center to center dimensions are different - F4R conversion for the win though.

I'd love a Dacia Logan Rally rep... Even the Cup cars look pretty mint

i saw in this forum thet the conversion is possible. user Oliver_k4m did it. the first impressions were that it revs mor easy to 7000 rpm . when i ll get the f4r inlet plenum il make pictures of the conversion

maybe one of you will be able to help me get one F4R inlet plenum . in Romania they are very expensive

hello, can enyone help me ? i need some dimensions of the stock exhaust manifold. the engine is a K4M 690. the exhaust manifold is the one shown in the pictures above.
1. i need the outside diameter of the pipe that ends tha manifold.

2 the distance between the wholes of the conic flange. thanks

it has ported and polished head, 4x40 CV carbs with 200 main jets, megajolt programable ignition, k4m 606 exhaust (Dacia Duster) for testing.
in the video it was not fine tuned.
