Nothing wrong with another OEM exhaust really.

Except the price I guess.

If you can find a cheap stainless system and can live the possibility that it'll make your car sound uber-chav, then there's your other option.

It's a sod though, I had my exhaust go a couple of years back, 172 OEM backbox 170 quid but, no more than 4 months later, the strain of the previous damage made itself shown and I needed a new centre-pipe. Pattern part, £65.

Unfortunately the pattern part isn't quite the same so there was a minor (really minor) blow where the 2 parts met. Nothing a load of sealant and some of that exhaust bangade couldn't hurt though.

Im not familiar with exhausts, but it looks like it broke off after the cat flange, so hopefully someone will confirm, but that fitting kit should unbolt off and leave the cat ready to bolt a new exhaust on.

looks like the cat is OK to me and it's just the mid silencer part that's broke as you can see the join clamp

If you're interested, I have my standard 182 full exhaust and cat in the loft still. took them off at 50K, the exhaust has been cut to remove it like all 182 systems but Renault have a clamp specific for rejoining. £50 for the exhaust and £75 for the cat. I'll even deliver;)

I'd just get an exhaust place to weld a straight pipe from the cat flange to the rear boxes. That way, problem solved and no way of failing again.

(That's only viable if the backboxes are in good nick though)

Almost every aftermarket system will be louder than standard, KTEC in particular from my knowledge.

Janspeed/btb for off the shelf quietness. Prospeed or similar for custom build quietness.
