Looks very shiny!

The wax should be after the EGP ;) I'd had done SRP before EGP as well personally.

I did think the EGP should have been before, but kinda forgot to do it so put it on anyway, can't do any harm lol.

:) If anyone is worried about claying don't be, as long as you lube it i think it's pretty much impossible to scratch the car.

:eek:Bit of a private question

They have never been in there since i had the car. Didn't notice when buying it.

Nice work - looks good, Got to love Flame, best 172 colour.

EGP wont last long after wax as it will not bond well. Also don't agree with the impossible to scratch thing - but done correctly there should be no reason it inflict any major marring.

It says put the EGP on after the super resin polish though? Arg i get confused. As long as it's shiny i'm happy.

Yeap thats correct.

So you Washed, clayed, polished (SRP) then Sealed with EGP'd

No waxing done then !

Argh right yeah EGP will struggle to bond well over the Cleaner Wax. AG say to use it over SRP which is a polish not a wax. As your pics show it looks good, you just wont see the 2-3 months protection the EGP can produce over a better base.

Yeah man looks wicked. i did mine today. Washed with 2 bucket method, then clayed certain areas and washed again. Then srp, cant find my agp so used some turtle wax nano-tec wax. Its a mild paste type s**t. Cant go wrong with that!:)

Am i ment to put something on after the SRP? never know lol. egp is to much effort, mainly cos i can't see it!

Looks so tidy in the photos its hard to believe you've had such a rough time with it! Flame looks spot on sporting those 182 wheels.

Flamers definatly have grown on me over the years! It does look really nice, i only ever liked black or silver on th172. But if i bought one now it would either be the monaco or flame.:) Pucka!

So next time i should wash, clay, SRP EGP then wax?

Thats the correct process yes. You dont need to repeat this process every sunday morning though.

If i were you on your next wash id take all the protection off you did this time round then SRP, EGP and Wax. Then just top up with wax. Looks a nice colour though.
