My front shock has pissed oil!

All round the wheel and the wheel arch made a right mess and hard to clean up!

Does anyone know how much they will be for a standard front set.
Im trying to price them up against some aftermarket ones.

Car is Mk2 ph1 non rs

I have got lowering springs on their with standard shocks and they have probally caused them to wear a bit more rapid. They are 70k miles old so probally would have needed replacing soon anyway.

my mate just got quoted £40 per shock and £40 fitted for a 1.2 (do it yourself the simple to fit)

well that seems pretty cheap. i can fit them myself so i think ill just get ones from the motor factors. cheers mate
