My little Clio :)

Hi all. Just thought I'd put one of these up. I've had my Clio nearly a year and a half now, and I've slowly been piecing her together. She's a wee 1.2 Rush. Weird thing is a love the car to pieces haha .Heres a few pics of her when I got it.

First thing I did to her was of course the bump strips. As them black things look abysmal!!

This is them done Mass improvement!!

Then came the Cupra R splitter. Lovely little addition, well I think so and my pals over here do as well . You all know what the standard one looks like, so I'll just show pics of it off and the Cupra's on.

This was when it was just fitted...

Same day as the splitter, I had the idea that I would finally get round to doing the badge (it had been off the car for about 7 months.) So a tin of spray paint later, and I had made a complete mess of it.

Not the best as you can well see... So a phone call to a mate later, he had paint ordered and he collected the badge the interior strips and for a laugh, my dust caps. Don't have a picture of the front badge atm, but I'll get one up.

Next thing was getting rid of the crappy plastic spoiler that was on, and replace it for the (I think) 1.4 16v? Maybe talking rubbish there.

Got the new spoiler of Ebay for a steal, unfortunately minus a break light. Got one from a scrappy for a 10 sheet, which was a result, because Renault wanted £38.

Thats really it for the time being. Got a few more jobs planned. Need colour coded mirror caps, get the front inserts on the bumper colour coded, lowered is a necessity and a 182 grille. Maybe get the windows done as well. Also going to wire up some fogs for myself, maybe get the yellow laminx put over them.

rs grill for sure... id lose the ripspeed wheels..... get some 172 alloys instead... and a cliosport sticker for your back window ;-)

although why is your renault diamond red.... and your dash inserts yellow.... on a silver car? :headno:

How do you remove the spoiler. Great Job by the way. Looks really nice. Some times small things can make a car look 20x better

The badge in that pic was fluorescent orange but I stripped the paint and got it sprayed the same colour as the interior strips.

Spoiler is really easy mate, open the boot and at the top there is two torx screws at either side and two in the middle, take them out and watch when you lift the spoiler off the car thee is, I think, four plastic gromets don't brake them they help stop it flapping about lol. And thanks for the comment dude.

Yeah that's the jobber lol. Just cause she cost me £25 it was a wee steal haha. Yeh thanks man was maybe thinking of doin the bit were the door lock, hazard button and window heater the yellow too. Bit more colour coding too. Yeh man she's a bus like needs to go low lol. Cheers mate .

Yeah mate, looking one like, tryna find one in Northern Ireland is a b**ch like . None going second hand, Renault will be a rip, I've also heard they wont sell you anything for a sport unless you own one? Not sure the amount of truth behind that? But it's definitely high on my agenda!!

Well was out at the car this morning. Got a picture of the front badge for yas.

While out i decided I'd have a go at the back badge. so I lifted the boot and took of the wiper motor and lock cover. Turns out that I didn't want to take the lock off just incase it didn't go on well for me. But I managed to get the badge off anyway, unfortunately broke the clips so no more nails will be needed lol.

So hopefully in a few days I will have the badge back and painted, I'll keep you all posted
