My mates Punto GT on eBay F***ING QUICK

One of the worst steering and gearbox combos I can think of. What a shitty shitty car the Punto was. No doubt can be good fun when tuned!
 
I love these things, but 180bhp/ton is not F****ING QUICK.

Gearbox was like a stick in a builder's bucket, steering is vague as f*ck and the handling was interesting. Still had proper loads of fun in mine, argh I miss it :(
 
Yeah, I've never understood why people rave about how fast their car is in an attempt to sell it... Comments about redline, revs, 0-60, "pulls like a train", torque, keeps up with blah blah blah... Then tell you it's been really well looked after and "not the usual ragged sh!t". SRSLY??

Seriously was awful lol, In 5th if you accelerated hard and then let off the gearstick would smack you in the knee aswell!
 
I do remember you always saying you loved yours Ant. They looked cool in Yellow with Black wheels!
 
Broom yellow, brilliant colour that always faded. Would still have a 20vt in that colour tbh.
 
Lol @ keeps up with Evo's & Scooby's - yeah course it does! I bet they're driving along normally & he thinks he's racing them :rolleyes:

No, it will genuinely eat most (standard) Evos and Imprezas for breakfast. Straight line and when rolling, they are pretty mighty.

But I know which one I'd prefer to be sitting in, it wouldn't be the fiat.

Nice cars but there hardly quick when you put an upgraded one against an upgraded Evo. Silly comparison.

I remember them back in the day, they were seriously bad, they'd always break down so they'd not even be able to hassle anything.
Plus if you crashed it you were pretty much f*cked!
 
How can it eat scoobys and Evos for breakfast? It has the same power as a clio 182 with nearly exactly same weight and looks as aerodynamic as a fridge freezer... Clio 182's don't beat Evos and scoobys lol... ?

I've plenty of graphs showing over the standard power.

R/R is only as good as the operator but that's another story.

Back on topic comparing like that doesn't really work out in the real world. A modified car making 180bhp tends to be quicker than a standard 180bhp car. I'm sure there are some physics behind it.

drive train. ie gear ratios / smaller wheels
