Get in there! Passed, no advisories and back on the road. It does drive better than it ever has whilst we've owned it and the springs haven't changed the ride much at all imo. But then I've only been driving the clio for 2 weeks so I could be biased! Will see how it handles another time, a soaking wet greasy Friday afternoon rush hour with badly aligned wheels isn't that great for balls out driving. Unless your surname is Maher.
So after fitting
Eibachs from DemonTweeks
Front and rear pads and front discs from G172
Droplinks, hublinks and hub link nuts from Paul at Renaultpartsdirect
and Gen rear discs and front caliper pins from Worldsaparts (who imo took too long to send things even though it was within the time frame of 14 days. If you sell things to people to fix their broken cars then speed is off the essence, every other part I ordered arrived well within 24 hours but you live and learn.)
I know have a second working, legal and improved car. Next MOT, the coupe at the start of October!
Cheers
John
