Audi TT 225
When I found out how small the original air feeds were on my 172 I couldn't believe my eyes. I took em off and it sounded like a k&n with the standard filter lol.
So I splashed on some toys to make a little improvement until I can make my mind up on an IK
ITG filter and a 70mm Green cold air feed (which was about to be chopped in 2)!
wooooohhhhh foamy :approve:
New filter back in the airbox
Now the 70mm feed wasn't a direct fit for the two inlets so a bit of "very technical tape" was used to make them a snug push on fit.
Air feeds now in!
One goes to the split vents under the headlight. On mine some of the plastic was already removed so the air gets a clear path into the engine bay through the vents.
The other feed goes down to the side of the fog light ready for summer when I'll modify a fog light surround to take the feed.
I need my fogs at the mo.... cuz its foggy a lot :dead:
And everything back in!
Job done! Feels better, revs more freely, sounds a lot better! :race:
