my mk1 clio paris 1.2

  mk1 clio
well after owning the car for a few days just got tidying and stepping back having a look and researching what i can do, im starting to remove nasty stripes from sides, fixing parcel shelf in back cos its knackered and wont hold speakers so may need to build one. ive sown up tears in seats but may replace with leather buckets when got money! just waiting on a mate to sort out some alloys if he can (cheers scott!) then gonna black out the interior plastic trim cos its a nasty faded blue/grey......................thatll do til i get time of work or evenings when i have time!

I'm going to be brutally honest, don't waste your money on it. I mean that in the nicest possible way.

Really wouldnt spend the money on it to be honest, but if you are heres what id do:

Slam it, remove the wheel trims and paint the steel wheels black.
Colour code bumpers, mirrors, side strips and the underseal overspray.
Valer bonnet (if you can replace the headlights to the square type ones)
Williams/valver rear spoiler

Im not clued up on MK1's so not too sure how the above would work.

To remove the adhesive try using Autoglym intensive tar remover, worked a treat when I removed stripes similar to yours off my car.

getting a mate to look at car next weekend to see if its gonna pass mot if so on i go simple and clean if not bye bye birdie and hello new clio (hopefiully cant be doing with cycling again!) thanks people and i know you say dont do nowt but i gotta do something its what i wanna do ;)
