My MK1 Clio starting to make it look Euro!!

First thing i did was Lower it by 60mm all round!!

i had to do this because the front left spring snapped so i thought why not lower it

Next i have smoothed out the bonnet to see how my work is at body filling and removing dints and spraying the car!!

thats it now with the bonnet black its a start

next i got Exhurst uk in sheffield to fit me an exhurts make a deep sound one 1000rpm at 5000 rpm it a really deep sound that vibrates and can set off car alarms

this is best picture i can find at the moment!!

what i am looking to do is get the whole car matt black with orange tints all over the car i will keep on uploading stuff to the thred

The exhaust is fine. Hope you do a good job on the rest. I've seen a very well done ph3 before with valver arches and bonnet, and Willy alloys.

i am hoping i do a good job to
just need to sort out the rust before i even start anywere on the body!!
i am putting a wide arch kit on it and fit 13" - 8" bobbetts alloys on the car will look great once i hav

Here is what i have done so far now!!
its the start to getting closer to the euro look

1. Got rid off all rust
2. Filled in the sides were plastics was
3. Painted all the car black
4. got 15"x7" deep dish alloys srayed black aswell
5. stripped back seats out
6. fiiting buckets and harnesses in this saturday
7. painted odd bits orange AKA centre caps, and badges petrol cap

the car just needs bit more power and it will be ACE

Some more news i have had straight threw stainless put on now got rid of the nosie bugger of exhurstUK did it messed up after 12 months, so hawleys sorted me out and it is better then ever

my view is DONT GO TO EXHURSTUK IN SHEFFIELD, OVER PRICED AND NOT WORTH IT!!!!

they charged me 12 months ago £150 to fit a brand new back box!! the one you see on pictures!! the baffles went and the exhursts has fell off 6 days out off the warrenty!! so i went to Hawleys in sheffield they charged me £250 for the whole system and got lifetime garentee with it and it sounds awesome

well all off u say this but i like it at end of the day and that wat counts most of you hav a bubble clio and i stuck with my mk1 and i wanted something diffrent.

i have a proper mk1 ph1 and id be ashamed if it looked like that. when are you putting that redtop in it? would go well with that "exhurst" you nicked off a skyline!
seriously tho why the hell did you take your car to a shop that cant spell exhausts!

Ok, so some constructive comments from me, as it seems you haven't got many of these....

You've done some good bits, and some bad, so here goes:

I'd remove all the orange, except maybe the filler cap and a few orange stickers if you're really set on having orange as a theme try doing some orange engine styling or interior modifications etc.

Either keep the alloys you have in all black, they may look ok, or change for some smaller replica BBS or similar.

Drop the back down a bit more if possible.

Colour code the front rub strip.

Once you've done these bits and bobs it'll look quite effective, IMO of course.
