The clio is by far the most 'fun' car you can buy.. OK persides a westfield or cateram 7!! In my opinion of course! The exhaust is quite throaty, but not too loud. Its the first performance exhaust i've had on a car, so i guess it will sound beafy to me, in comparison to a standard system. The type R was alot nicer to be in, but offered poor fuel consumption when you consider the two cars have the same performance.

So as someone who's driven both extensively, you would say they offer the same performance?

I'd really like to hear that sort of conclusion, i'm on type r and cliosport forums and both think their cars are faster than the other, as a general rule, i know there are people on here that disagree .

On a clio meet recently, myself in type R and some lovely gentleman in a white 197 went from rolling start to 135 ish... The 197 was probably a car length behind all the way..... Standard 182 against a standard EP3 would probably see the type R pull away by such a small amount you wouldn’t notice it before losing your license

My Trophy with a remap would have a type r away at 0-60 then lose out above three figures.

civic is better built and the engine is so easy to modify but a 182 is much more fun.
