looks great, mines the same, but in SA they sold it to me as "Renault Clio Sport", just have "16v" badges on the side instead of RSi - how can I check if I have an alloy bonnet and also, is the engine cover standard - I don;t have one and wouldn't mind trying to get me hands on one.

When the 1.6 16v car first came out in the UK, it was badged as a 16v. As it was (at the time) the only Clio2 with a 16v engine.

Some clio mk2 16v 1.6 or RSi have alloy bonnet and I'm sure you got one or take a pics of your bonnet when it open:)
The engine cover I got come from megane 1.6 2001 and fit easy. Do you have megane over there??:)

giles, how easy was your engine cover to fit? i assumed i'd need the little upstands on the plenum to make the cover clip onto mine and as my plenum doesnt have the upstands i havnt bothered getting the cover. did yours have the little upstands of plastic for the cover to clip onto?

So is the 172 interior in the rsi now??? How come you bought rsi interior for the 1.2? Bit confused here, I have had a few pints like but I thought you were just swapping everything from the 1.2 onto the 1.6?

  Clio 197
No I'm leaving my RSi interior for now because I like them.
I brought another RSi interior for 1.2 to get it ready to sell soon and going to looks like a RSi:)

172 interior gone :dapprove:
