my new clio 182

  clio 182
Finally I have purchased a clio 182 and after a 2 hour drive home my back is killing me haha! Anyway....it's covered 69k with full SH upto a recent 65k oil and plugs service. I am now the 3rd owner.

As far as I'm aware it has both cup packs and the only modification is a K-tec cat back exhaust. the paintwork is pretty good but there's a few tiny dinks and blemishes here and there. everything runs sweet no odd noises or dash lights (yet) haha!!

the only thing on my mind is getting the Cambelt and dephaser etc done...could and body recommend a good clio specialist in the East Midlands area??

here's 2 pics but expect more after I get cleaning it tomorrow let me know what you think please cheers

Yeh I got it down abit but my original budget was 3k so I've got plenty extra to go at haha.

where's best for good belt change around east mids?

thanks all for the nice comments, I haven't got much planned just going to refresh and upgrade some engine parts. then a re-trim steering wheel would be nice. and in my dreams some Recaro seats lol

fitted my induction kit today after removing the acoustic valve etc..just awaiting my samco hose now!!

it feels a lot better low down and sounds insane!!!

very similar to the "fatty" induction I think my filter is just abit bigger than the 1 stated in the thread.

Looks great! How hard is it to remove the acoustic valve? And does anyone know if it's necessary? I've got this setup but didn't bother with acoustic valve removal...

  clio 182
I have only removed the feed pipe leading to the acoustic valve.

the acoustic valve itself is still there it's just not plugged in anymore and the vacuum hose has been blocked.

now it's all settled in I can't get enough of that noise lol

I love the noise too! It's quiet enough when you want it to be then sounds awesome when you want to be a hooligan!:up:

at 1st I wasn't sure.. but for £30 I'm actually really happy with how these FAKE wrapped carbon dash inserts look. no nasty edges or creases etc.
not going to fit the centre hazard piece just the 2 side bits

Love the samco hose, might try and get a black one for mine! I have the K&N panel in standard air box however which I really like, but never had the fatty so couldn't comment on that

@182_steve the fatty makes a lot of noises lol no noticeable mad power increases (my mpg is slightly going up though) but for roughly £40 all in it makes me smile alot!

not sure what other colours samco offer? should imagine they can do black though!

no performance gains but it looks better than the old black plastic wrinkle pipe
