My New Eunos

  Seat Leon Cupra 290
So i went and did what everyone seems to be doing and bought myself a nice old eunos roadster, i know a few of you on here have one or family memebers have one.

Its pretty standard and will prob stay that way mostly, would like to just tidy it up, theres a few scratched and little dents that need sorting out, along with a bit of laquer peel here and there, but it looks pretty rust free

Bought for well under £1k so im well happy, insurance is just over £100 too with my parents on the policy under classix insurance.

Would this model have the LSD and all that gubbins? its got air con and elec everything and all.

Oh and the gay stickers will be off today

Yes if its an import it 'should' have an LSD - unless it has been removed or was randomly specced without it

For under a grand it's a cracking buy! But i don't see the attraction at all!

its a 1.6, fairly early jap import one, i cant drive it untill tomorrow which sucks, just cleaned it all up, all the stickers are off, got rid of a load of marks. It has a really shitty old sony cd player, want to get a nice discrete little head unit for it.

Im unsure about the rack, i may keep it on there as it looks ok imo, does anyone know if they are standard alloys or not? Unbeilvable amount of car for the money though!

yeah, that would have had LSD at birth.

What's the condition of the roof like? Instead of spending money on modz y0, it's money better spent to get a mohair roof put on when the time comes. That would be quite a pricey job but ultimately far more worthwhile than making it "unique" (including 'lowz', 'cool weelz', etc)

To improve handling without destroying ride, go for chassis braces instead

Sorry mate, theres no more room on the Eunos bandwagon. But you can run along behind if you like? ;)

Only playing, crackin' little cars. Wouldn't mind one myself.

The roof is in proper good condition, don't know what they are like for leaking but its in a carport/garage anyway. What's the benifits of the mohair? I have read they are good.

As said anyone know what rims they are too?

No ghetto modz going on I'm afraid, only making it more mint over time, upgrading suspension and wheels tyres at some point in the future. Just going to proper enjoy it.

Oh, stikorz are off now, can post them to someone else if they really want them. Was probably the equivalent of paeado bear or troll meme from back in the 90's I would of thought.

the standard alloys are called "daisies" or something equally as gay, i have a set in my garage along with a set of rotas from my eunos. proper fun little cars arent they? i love mine now its all running sweet!
