Right. Bit of a mixed day I've had. Started off sorting out all my parts and having a good look around the car. I was going to begin with the exhaust, however looking underneath, the back box has been welded to the mid section FFS. So I'm going to have to change how I go about that.
So, moving on, I started with the wheels - removed a couple of the Anti-theft bolts; all good - they're flat faced ones which I require... come to remove the rest they're all tapered! Turns out the cyclones take tapered bolts, not flat faced ones like most of Peugeots alloys... So this means I've been driving around with 4 anti-theft wheel bolts only done up finger tight for a few weeks... Nice.
Starting to worry about what else has been bodged tbh!
I'll be making a trip to a Peugeot or Citroen garage in the morning to purchase 16 bolts - I've had it with anti-theft bolts. They're f**king gash.
Anyway - I trial fitted one wheel on the back, just to get an idea - I think I quite like them tbh! Certainly seem to suit it a bit better than the Cyclones anyway.

So, after moving on from not being able to do the wheels, I started on removing the headlights with the intention of making them into "Black Masks". Simple, take the glass/plastic off, spray the insert, leave to dry and pop back together.

^ That bit is being done black and is currently drying.
The headlights themselves were easy. The indicators however... they needed to be oven baked. I managed the first one fine, but the second... I forgot about it being in the oven, and by the time I'd remembered it had melted. FFS
So that's another ~£15 I need to spend...

What a dick!
Anyway, I got on with peeling off the horrible sticker on the Cobra Imola I bought for £75!

Much better.
And I removed the clock faces from some S16 dials I bought with the intention of replacing mine. This is a dash-out job, so it'll be getting done tomorrow fingers crossed!

They will look far better. IMO
Hopefully tomorrow will bring slightly better luck than today... I at least want to be able to fit the wheels and prepare the Cyclones for selling...
I've also bought some Gtechniq window treatment, a Rear Peugeot boot badge and some nice smelling stuff for the inside. That'll all be going on tomorrow when it's cleaned!
