Coming along nicely, whats next?

I need to sort out some sort of filtration for the bodies and hopefully getting a fibreglass tailgate in the next few weeks.

Fibreglass tailgate arrived today so just need to sort out the fitting.

It's light!

Got my itg sausage filter as the tights I had on before were all laddered.

I think it looks nice in the bay. Just need to sort an oil catch tank out.

did the bonnet happen at mallory? i saw the guy parked up at the side of the road when i was on my way there, gutted cus i had the same thing happen at about 60. i bet its a right hoot what kinda power does it have now? 160-170? mine was 140 and a peach of a car like you i miss it just makes the 172 look so tame and boring.

Just spent the last hour fitting the polycarb to the fibreglass tailgate. Nightmare!

Left it bonding overnight so will hopefully be fitting it tomoz.

Looks like it has the C2 VTS engine not the Saxo/106 one. These made slightly more power too iirc?

If the cams and valve springs are taken from the 106 GTI/VTS engine then yes, slightly more, as the JP4 (C2 VTS engine) has bigger valves.

Although leeds_182's engine might just have the rocker covers from the C2 VTS which are a straight swap and unlike the J4 ones, don't leak oil!

its non of them i toop pics of them all to. the bottom ones a mate who hads a evo engined 205 at around 500 brake, middle ones hoyle off rallye register not sure on top one.

Got the fibreglass tailgate fitted today. I was quite surprised at how much the standard one actually weighs! Won't be putting the car through any car washes anytime soon though....

Not really worth the money to get the panels painted tbh.
