Been here a while thought i'll start a thread on my non sport.

Plans are.
Fit 172 wheels
K-Tec stealth system
172 rear bumper
RS grill
Coilovers

Not to sure what else atm, ill see what happens.

Bought the car in june for £860

First things first i sprayed the badges black.
And got a bra as it was really cheap

Then i got a crappy air filter, all noise no power.
no pics

Bought some subs from a mate
2 12" 1000watt jbl subs and a 4000watt amp

Soon realised i needed money for new wheels and springs so they went.

Got new plates from FancyPlates and a clio sport sticker.

And then a spoiler of here. Sprayed it black and fitted it.

Then got silver visions front, back and sides and

Then bought some 172 wheels of R46. then he scammed me, told me he ''forgot'' the center caps and 2 tyres. No answer to emails, tetxs, phone calls even tho he answer the majority of them and didnt speak.
Anyway this is about my car not him.

Got the wheels home and cleaned them and just waiting to get some tyres for them.

In the meantime i bought some 60mm apex springs of here got them fitted the other day.

just cleaned it.

Removed the nurburgring sticker

Got a Cadwell Park one to go on instead now

And one with Tomo 211

Looks good. Not a massive fan of the wheels, but other than that looks good.
I presume your front plate is 84mm tall from the guide. I measured it up the other day and went for 94mm and actually fits a lot better and doesnt have the border at the bottom which imo is better.

Looks like your paint works in good condition as well, hardly any fading

Looks good from far away but trust me its in bad condition needs a proper good detail.

Not sure yet im getting a 172 rear bumper when i find a cheap one, but not sure about the rest might leave them it breaks it up a bit. But ill see what happens.

at 90k thats still a fcuking cheap car. I just sold one with 137k on it, every panel was dented and it had a misfire and I got £1250 for it!

Bit of a problem with it atm think the clutch is on its way out. When i accelerate after 2/3K it sounds revs high [ sounds like im riding the clutch ] only dose it in 1st 2nd n 3rd tho.
Cant afford a new clutch

Half a tank atm so not sure.
It sounds like its slipping when i accelerate past a few k.
Ill do a little video tomorrow if no one has any idea's.

Yeah when i either get enough for some decent coilovers or rokkor make 52mm spacing ones it will be lower.

Also being fucked around by the insurance, they now want me to pay around 2.5K cheapest iv found is 2.2K i can insure a mk4 fiesta zetec s for £1500 :S or a 182 for £2.4K :S think i might sell this and get either the fiesta or sport :L

TBH If you lower it more you will run into more money for the arch mods youll need.

Yeah thats what i was thinking =/
I've got some 172 wheels to go on when i get some tyres so ill see how much lower it will go with them on if its got a fair bit i might invest in some rokkor colies and get the holes re-drilled to fit mine.

I want to get the 172 wheels on get a 172 rear bumper, rs grill , spoiler,wing mirror covers colour coded before FCS then the rest when i can

Brilliant car for the money, will look a million times better with the 172 alloys on. Could look into some colour coding aswell?
