mmmm it was good to drive even tho it wasnt fast u got crowds of people around the car if u left it parked up for a bit but i had loads of trouble with it new engine was fitted,tracking was out nearly every week,tyres cost £200 each (run flat tyres)windscreen seal came off 4 times,gear linkage broke but i still loved it for some reason.i got the plastic archs sprayed black got a nice aero spoiler,full exhaust and induction kit.too many about now tho but i did love it

How much did it cost you to get arches painted?

GF wants hers done been quoted £490 by minidesign

it was about £300.i got a few stone chips and the paint started to come off in patchs but if u know a good sprayer have a talk with him and c if he tackle the job.i got mine done cos i had an accident on a carpark and needed all the rear wing sorting out so he did that for £500 and did a perfect job i asked him to do the arches and he said that cos the plastics really soft (its a strange nobbly plastic) that it might not last too long and he didnt fancy doing a bad job.he did warn me but i wanted em doing.i think u can get aftermarket arches now that are better plastic for painting if u go on to http://www.mini2.comwww.mini2.com or http://www.minisport.comwww.minisport.com u might find out
