My old Clio in a dodgy ad

Got told that my old clio was back up for sale on Autotrader, so I had a look and found this:

This was the garage that I initially sold it to, and they are the same pictures as when they had it up for sale just under a year ago.

I know that the car had been sold onto another company, who put a set of crappy lexus lights on the back and then sold onto some kid in the Bristol area (I got given a photo of it at one of the Cribbs Cruise meets)

The garage that initially had it (and that it's currently advertised with) has actually closed down and doesn't exist anymore.

Do you guys reckon it's just a mistake by Autotrader or someone's trying scam somebody?

And no, i did not put the stripes or white wing mirrors on, that was the garage haha.

But on a serious note it does sound pretty fishy! Especially as the garage doesn't exist.

Google the contact details for the garage and see if the phone numbers match. If not then it's suspect, if they do give them a bell and quiz them. Just pretend your a potential customer.

Yes that is a picture of an evo lol, but if you look in the top right of the picture, you will see the clio haha.


I have just looked and there are quite a lot of other cars on Autotrader up for sale by the same company.
Not sure what it could be... maybe the company restarted and accidently put it back up for sale
