I think a fair few were bought by enthusiasts, same type that buys Porky's and the weekend car - they tend to change hands every couple of years, M3's fit the same brief.

The Trophy's about 2 years old now - merry go round has started.

I hadn't realised it had been for sale that long! I only had it for sale for about four days when he sent me a deposit for it!

The thing I've noticed though is that they are still holding there value pretty well, so own it for a year sell it back on at not much less than you paid for it.

LOL. I sold it because it only gets driven once a week. I think it's a shame to have such a great car and never use it. The 172 cost just over a third of the price as well!

That was the best thing about hardly using it, it was still absolutely mint! Didn't have a single mark on it! No swirling in the paint or anything!
