RB182FF & Mini
Hello everyone,
I wasn't planning to buy a 182 for at least another year, but after landing a new contract in work and the insurance being cheaper than expected, I went for it!
Previously had this my 1.2 - currently in having work done before sale.

After searching high and low for a LY 182 without joy I came across a full fat 182 in the lovely Racing Blue! I asked the questions got the answers, HPI checked her, checked my bank balance and went too pick her up!

I could never imagine how different it would be jumping from my 1.2 to the 182. But the difference was insane... and for the extra costs involved. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Please forgive me for my awful photos below from my mobile! I'm planning to get some photos taken by a photographer friend soon!
Stopped at the services on the way back with my Dad.... treated him to Burger King!

I hated the inserts/door things sprayed blue. As soon as I got home, I ripped the standard ones out of the 1.2 and placed them in the 182, made the inside look 100 times better IMO.\
BEFORE
AFTER
First Day at the Office (I was in really early, so nobody seen me putting my tie on the car. LOL)
Tyler gave me his old Inferno's an engine cover! \o/
F**kin pigeons!!!
The false floor (not my cuppa, planning to put the seats back in soon)
Commuting to work cruise control set to 66mph. I somehow don't believe the on board computer unless I filled up on diesel by mistake!!
Wasn't a pigeon this time.... F**KIN SEAGULLS!
This happened today. Nothing had snapped thank god! it was only a bolt. I had to take one of the industrial desks apart for a replacement bolt (hopefully my boss doesn't read cliosport..)
Black Diamond felt a bit... chavvy? (I'm not calling people with black badges chav's it's just not my cuppa ;-))
Much better! imo
No leather on the gear knob, I actually like the rubber feel... makes it more grippy when hooning yo
Had to replace the insert though!
Well for now, that is all.
I have plans for her, for sure!
As I said, I'm really sorry about the awful photos. I WILL get some better ones very soon!!
Thank you for reading!
Shane

- Put the rear seats back in
- RS192 (the current exhaust is a custom built thing, it's loud as F0k. Can be a fun noise (when I want it to, which isn't all the time)
- New shoes - Turinis hopefully in Silver, or white. Hopefully silver if it looks good.
- Birchdown service, dephaser and the belts whilst thats done.
- Rubber - Hankook v12s on all 4 corners got a nice discount
- Remove the private plate, people keep asking if my nick name is Jibbo. Which it isnt ;-)
- Smaller aerial
- Get her detailed by someone, or give it a go myself!
As I said, I'm really sorry about the awful photos. I WILL get some better ones very soon!!
