My radio code is not being accepted!

Hi,
I have a standard clio radio with multichanger, and have a valid code for it (Had to get it from a renault dealer by providing my vin because it was not in service book about a year ago) However after changing my battery that same code which worked a year ago is no longer accepted, i input it into the screen an hit the toher buttons and it just replys with a beep! any idea why? thought the same code would work all the time afterwards.

Yeah it should do, I just paid £11.75 for mine and they wrote it down, said it'll work if I ever need to disconnect the battery again

If it worked the first time it will work every time after that.

Are you pushing the right button to confirm the code?

I'm sure you hold the "6" button in when you have finished entering the code

put the ignition on and leave the radio on for about 10 mins then enter the code that should work when i put mine back in it had to sort of sort it self out guess it was haveing a little think about where it was lol

They told me to use the steering wheel controls, use the wheel to move the numbers then press the button on the bottom to move along, when you're on the last digit pressing the bottom button will enter the code.

Thanks all, I feel so dumb I wasnt holding the number 6 button in 2 weeks without tunes cos of it lol.
