My Road Trip Through Spain and France

Last summer me and a few friends went on a drive through Spain, up France and back home, here are the pictures. Unfortunately some plum drove into the back of me on the motor way recently so the Clio is now written off and I am now looking for a 182. Hope you like the pictures.

There were so pretty cool places out there, recommend to anyone thinking of doing it. Loads of fun.

it took us 2 weeks did around 1700 miles

a lot of people are going to le mans this year! thinking might be similar seen as you drove through france.

Ah yes good question. Im tempted to drive to my friends apartment is spain.

well including the ferry ( which was amazing ), petrol, camp sites and food around 400 -500

Quality, i ditto the above, I'm driving to Bordeaux in July, well excited, gonna be BOILING hot, lol.

400 - 500 really, food camp sites and fuel for 2 weeks and 1700 miles??? pretty good going.

I sooooo wanna do this. got a mate with an Focus ST500 who wants to do it too. suppose it would cost bit more for us in fuel tho!


hmmmm, interesting, mite give it a rethink. fancy doing the ring too.

I dont think I could trust the 172 to do 1700 miles without some kind of breakdown!

I did the same in 2008, was brilliant. Would've loved to go with a few mates in a few cars, i just took the mrs lol

Also is it easy to find ur way about over there? Just follow satnav i guess?

it was all quite straight forward actually, got used to driving on the right in a few hours and just used sat nav, we had the whole route planned out before which helped alot.

Sorry to hear about your car, but looks like a fun trip! Great scenery.

Sat nav works fine on he continent, in fact, most in-built ones work better with European postcodes. The only issue is when you want a specific address. In places like Italy you have a main road, then smaller arteries, cul-de-sacs etc. and they all have the same name!
