My RS rep Project (Pic content)

Hey guys some of you know my car, some of you dont.

So then, here is my car from standard 1.2 16v Extreme 4 to it's present guise as a 1*2 rep.

I KNOW I NEED LOWERING AND SKIRTS
AND I CANT AFFORD INSURANCE ON A 172/182 this only cost me £600 to insure and a 1*2 cheapest quote i got was £1700
It's cost me less than a grand to do, so please dont post saying that....

Anyway when i brought it i soon whacked on some aero wipers, RS grille and silver visions it looked something like this....

After that came some wheels courtesy of riz off his 182, mint condition and then wrapped in some conti sport contacts.
To those of you that know merry hill, this is where you might spot me

After the wheels (Which in all honesty was as far as i intended to go) I spotted a little thread titled "1*2 kit for sale"
So off i travelled to pick that up.

Came back and fitted that

Then after driving round chav styleeee with patchwork paint I got it re sprayed friday.
There are some issues i.e runs in the laquer and overspray on other paintwork that needs sorting out pronto, but it's ok for now.

So here she stands tonight.

And STILL looking for some side skirts if anyone has any to sell??

Future plans look to be coilovers, undecided on what brand to go for though...
I've heard mixed reviews about just about every sub £700 set out there so far...

will be gettin the RS skirts on ASAP to finish the look and wheel spacers all round =]

Any suggestions?

Any coilovers will be a nice ride, just depends on how deep your pockets are, A friend of mines got GAZ coilies and for 500 quid their awesome! sporty setuop without being thrashy or too bumpy. Nice n responsive.

I like the mods mate, looks sooo much better than standard eh. Good work.

Gorgeous car. Lucky with the no sunroof. i like mine but the rattles drive me crazy!!
