My s13 project

Thought a few of you on here might be interested to see some pics of my s13.

This is the second one I've owned , had this one for about 18 months now.

Anyways , took it off the road for an overhaul as the big ends , clutch and turbo gaskets all went!

Been off the road for quite a while now , but in summary I've got the old engine out , rebuilt it , and dropped it back in. Whist the engine was out I've had a bit of welding done .

Hoping to get the car back on the road by Feb ish , got a fair bit to do still . My new turbo will get me close to 300bhp with one or two more upgrades.

very nice and nice work on the engine. whats the spec to get it upto 300hp? Also get that back end de-spoilered ;)

The spoiler went ages ago , that's quite an old pic!

Engine is rebuilt with reground crank , ACL race bearings ,new oil pump , piston rings , new rod bolts/nuts etc.

The key component to get it to 300 is the turbo to be honest , it's a GT28R. 300 is pushing the top limit of the turbo though. I won't be running 300bhp straight off .

I already had a Greddy profec B boost controller , full 2.5 exhaust , K&N induction kit , iridium plugs & a front mount IC ,

Higher flow injectors and remap the car myself and I should be near my power target ;)

This is of course providing it all runs , haha.

not bad, I remember looking into getting around 300hp for mine and the GT28R was recommended but to get a reliable 300hp I was looking at £3k as I cant do mechanics for the life of me lol, there were quite a few bits I was told I'd need, most of which you have listed there I think...
