Okay so this will probably be the slowest project thread on CS.net ever as all the car funds are currently going on a holiday that's coming up in a few months.
So I joined the forum just under a year ago after I had just bought my very first car:
Black 2005 1.4 - It was an amazing first car in my opinion, I loved everything although there were a couple of things that were annoying. Unfortunately she started to develop some miss firing problems that no one could seem to figure out. Luckily I noticed an advertisement in my local Renault for used Clio on 0% finance. Found a clio I liked, went to view it and came home that weekend with my ph2 part exchanged (for a very good price as luckily the day it had its valuation the misfiring problem didn't happen!!!) and silver mk3 1.2T TCE.
First thing I did was de-badge the clio from the rear of the car.
Before:
After:
Next I got an RS Grill off a member on the 197.net which imo has changed the front end massively!
Before:
After:
Then I fitted a new headunit that I got for Christmas. Ill be honest I'm amazed by the sound quality from the standard speakers! It really does cope quite well.

Next thing was just a little experiment that I didn't expect to like but actually I do. I bought this yellow light film with the intension of putting it on my old clio but never got round to it.

I actually like them.
Future plans include:
Fresh plates front & back
Silvervison indicator bulbs
Team Heko wind deflectors
Refurbish my alloys in a gloss black - if anyone knows of a good place in my area please let me know
Lowered - I'm not really sure how much to be lowering by so I'm hoping you can help. I don't want it stupidly low so that it becomes impractical, but it really needs lowering a bit just to fill the arch gap. What do you all suggest?
So that's it really, the car is on finance for 3 years so I plan to keep it until the finance has been paid by which time I will be 19 and hope to be lucky enough to afford the insurance on a Liquid Yellow 197/200 Cup - with both hero spolier and alloys!
Oh and Here is a photoshop another member on here kindly did for me of how I would like it with the alloys and lowered:

Here's a set of my clio if you fancy looking at anymore photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/91476676@N07/sets/72157632782082348/
