My small mods.....

Car  172 cup
Took Fri off work and spent loads of time doing my badges and colour coding the bumper strips. Im really pleased with them and cant beleive I did them myself - makes the car look so much better.

Have other plans too - want to get wheels done white - lowered - also do something with the bumpers cos hate the plastic.

Good work tho.

Its probably cos I spent 3 hours cleaning car on sat (minus bumper strips) so they obviously havnt been polished etc - will do them next time I clean car.

not enough laquer on them

dont look like theres enough paint either
and to think I did you a thank you thread.....phft.

They have 5 coats of black on them - 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of laquar. Used 2 tins of black and 1 of primer and Laquar

nah fair play for having a go yourself, but id definatly put some more laquer on them

Im going to try some SRP so Hazza suggested anyway - I spent 3 hours cleaning the car on Sat polishing etc so maybe they look dull because of the car looking so shiny

maybe

ive never used srp myself so cant comment.

if you really dont wanna add more lauqer id give them a slight wetflat with the finest wetordry paper you got thats lower than p1500 (p2000,p2500,p3000) and buff them up with g3

thatll give them a better shine

srp wont really do much to them i dont think
use g3 then srp to finish it off. and maybe wetflat it first?
