Wasnt too big of a job clios come apart very easy lol, still got the ph1 wheel as on my to do list is a 197/200 wheel with the yellow stitching but cant find one
ive got a ph2 172 wheel to replace the ph1 now though Ali you gotta love the raybans lol
I put the spec at the begining of the thread dude, the conversion was carried out at rstuning in leeds & it made 253bhp on their rollers

As for the dash everything apart from the recirc button works, but i never used that anyway so dosnt bother me. I got a heater pannel out of a non sport with a/c & it worked but no good to me now its charged lol, ive only just finished the other buttons had to cut the originals down to fit behind the ph2 buttons to be operated that way as they cnt be wired up, so glad ive did it though as the recaros didnt look right against the ph1 dash.

I've got to say it, it's actually perfect, like really.
I don't even care about the engine (I'm sure it's brilliant) but the rest of the car is just amazing.

Have you got ph2 carpet? I totally agree on the Recaros and the blue dash not working.
Now for the cheeky bit, if I buy a dash will you help me get everything working, i.e answer a few PM questions etc? (Would the AC have worked then)?
The re-circ button is a load of tosh anyway so I'm not worried about that.

I really appreciate the effort that's gone into it, I've had two ph1's now, a non sport and a sport so I know exactly where the improvements can be made.
So very little I can see left to do, a ph2 boot would be great, as you can have the 197 Renault Sport badge, and maybe the centre caps black? (although I think I quite like them?)
Tell me you've still got the ph1 gear knob?
In mine at the moment I've got ph2 172 carpet, seats (front and back), all rear plastics.. all that's left to do is the front door cards and the dash. I'm 100% going to do it after seeing yours.

Ph1s ftw lol this is my 3rd ph1 172 now love them had a ph2 1.4 dynamique, ph2 172 and a 182.

Im not a fan of the 197 renault sport badge against the clio badge looks odd with them being a different style, i was thinking about debadging the rear & just putting the new megane sport badge were the clio one is now to hide the pin holes lol
