Oh I've just done an insurance quote and its only £600 more than my 182, VERY tempted. £8500 seems very cheap! Although I haven't looked at there prices resently.
If my money wasn't tied up I'd be coming to look but I can't at the moment.
Your adverts very well written. Only thing I can suggest is adding detailed information about services/MOTs (mileages and what not)
I would also suggest adding as many photos to photobucket (or similar) as possible and providing links to this in the adverts.
Infomation on all tyres detailed information like brands and tread depth.
And the streering wheel doesn't look great in the photos, I dunno if its possible to replace it but that will prevent people from having an excuse to beat you down on price.
Some might say I go over the top but I feel this leaves the buyer with a good impression of you, if you put that much effort into your description you know alot about your car and spend alot of time on that as well.
Best of luck with the sale.
Thanks for the feedback mate.
I've priced the car to sell, I'd rather put a realistic price and have some interest than over price and hear nothing, I'm in no rush and think it is reasonable. If people were interested I can provide receipts that show the care and expense I've taken on the car.
The steering wheel is not in the best nick and thats why I have shown it in the picture but I've not seen another V6 at that age with a steering wheel that hasn't been replaced in better condition! So what do i say? standard for the year and people expect it to be like their previous cars? Its all opinion and I didn't want to give any false impressions, in my opinion is near immaculate for a 9 year old car! but thats only my opinion!
I'd rather have some serious interest and them ask me to go over the car with a fine tooth comb and provide pictures of every slight imperfection, but again maybe that is me being lazy or just expecting different things from different buyers.
Your point on hte wheels is maybe valid, a bit of caked on brake dust and a bit of wear on the paint (maybe a average refurb job before I got the car). There is also a tiny bit of kerbing on one wheel but what does one person interpret as a tiny bit of kerbing? I'd rather provide photos from someone interested!
Sorry if this was a bit of a ramble but I'd rather have a one to one contact with someone about what they want to know..... maybe I'll never sell lol
