  Looking for 182
My only comment is that there is no mention of previous owners, minor detail I know, but it saves people emailing you and asking :)

Oh I've just done an insurance quote and its only £600 more than my 182, VERY tempted. £8500 seems very cheap! Although I haven't looked at there prices resently.

If my money wasn't tied up I'd be coming to look but I can't at the moment.

Your adverts very well written. Only thing I can suggest is adding detailed information about services/MOTs (mileages and what not)
I would also suggest adding as many photos to photobucket (or similar) as possible and providing links to this in the adverts.

Infomation on all tyres detailed information like brands and tread depth.

And the streering wheel doesn't look great in the photos, I dunno if its possible to replace it but that will prevent people from having an excuse to beat you down on price.

Some might say I go over the top but I feel this leaves the buyer with a good impression of you, if you put that much effort into your description you know alot about your car and spend alot of time on that as well.

Best of luck with the sale.

Good point, this I'll have to check.

I don't see the point of adding conditioning. One persons immaculate is another mans wreck. I'd rather they spoke to me, the front end as said is near perfect still after a year, not a mark worth talking about that I reckon on the rest of the car. No dents as its fibreglass, not a mark worth mentioning I that I know of.

If they were interested they'd ring wouldn't they? Not being rude or anything just only wanted to state facts and not my opinion, maybe could have said the steering wheel is worn but that is visable from the pics.

Good to see no mention of all the slags you've had in it.

Don't do slags.

Thanks for the feedback mate.

I've priced the car to sell, I'd rather put a realistic price and have some interest than over price and hear nothing, I'm in no rush and think it is reasonable. If people were interested I can provide receipts that show the care and expense I've taken on the car.

The steering wheel is not in the best nick and thats why I have shown it in the picture but I've not seen another V6 at that age with a steering wheel that hasn't been replaced in better condition! So what do i say? standard for the year and people expect it to be like their previous cars? Its all opinion and I didn't want to give any false impressions, in my opinion is near immaculate for a 9 year old car! but thats only my opinion!

I'd rather have some serious interest and them ask me to go over the car with a fine tooth comb and provide pictures of every slight imperfection, but again maybe that is me being lazy or just expecting different things from different buyers.

Your point on hte wheels is maybe valid, a bit of caked on brake dust and a bit of wear on the paint (maybe a average refurb job before I got the car). There is also a tiny bit of kerbing on one wheel but what does one person interpret as a tiny bit of kerbing? I'd rather provide photos from someone interested!

Sorry if this was a bit of a ramble but I'd rather have a one to one contact with someone about what they want to know..... maybe I'll never sell lol

In all honesty, i'd add this line...

''I have a very honest view of this car. One mans mint is another mans dog. Please feel free to call meand I can walk around the car with you on the phone''.

Or something like that.

All I'm saying is, your advert may come accross a bit brief compared to the other queers with V6's. x

Have the refurb done, and I think it'll sell a lot easier.

A very nice motor, but I would say your advert seems a bit half arsed.

If it doesn't sell in a month or two, gimmie a shout and I'll help you write a good'un.

My main reasoning for the photos is because not everyone lives within a close proximity to you. Some people may be 300-400 miles away which is a long trip to be disapointed when they arrive! I'm not in anyway saying your car will be disappointing but with 30-40 photos of each wheel, the engine bay, this new exhaust, in the boot (well bonnet) etc etc it gives them a much better representation than the few photos you provided.

And as you say you can only give you opinion on the condition not fact. Photos will help to justify that opinion!

Maybe get it detailed. Not a full blown dogs b****cks one (but also not a dodgy polish street corner type), but like a £50-100 ish type and then mention that in the advert.

  Ph1 172.
I saw this the other day and I am/was tempted. I've promised myself one, but I think I should really save some more and minimise my loan! It looks great.

Shouldnt really bother with pistonheads, full of people offering swaps and offers that they wont follow through
