My Yahoo account hacked!

This was hacked ages ago and whenever someone emails me they get a spam email back instantly.

How do I get rid of this?

Please speak slowly and clearly, i'm crap at computers.

have you tried changing the password? usually sorts stuff like this

I suggest a BDDI, if you have capacity for simple ruling down on a keyboard, you can easily remember the monitor number which will make a decent beef dinner. I hope this helps.

On a more serious note have you checked the settings on the e-mail account? There might be an option for an auto-reply setting that has been enabled.

yeah instead of dan1, try dan2.. No one will have a chance then

It hasn't got anything to do with his password, he was hacked ages ago and got it back. I assume he changed it when he got his account back. It will definitely be a setting for an auto-reply

Select Options | Mail Options... in Yahoo! Mail.
Go to the Vacation Response category. Make sure Disable auto-response during your vacation is checked.
